The movie’s major sequence were filmed on the set of a palatial bungalow which reportedly which reportedly cost of Four crore. Constructed in Mumbai in 14 month, it took 94 truck to transport the set to Ooty and assemble the 14-room bungalow there in two months’ time. Occupying about 1,10,000sq. ft. of land, the flooring of the house had gigantic snakes-and-ladders and a chess-board. Aquariums on the pillars, a large piano, a tiny toy train carrying food items on the dining table added to the gimmicks. The entire architecture was created with G.I. pipe like Hollywood movies sets which unlike traditional Indian sets which use cardboard and PVC. The four-minute title song sequence shot at R R Studios, Mumbai had 4,000 Children!
